A Humble Bumble

Via Flickr:
I finally got a chance to sit down and watch Rankin & Bass' Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer this evening. Rudolph is my 3rd favorite holiday movie behind A Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation.

This vignette is the scene near the end of the movie when the Bumble (now reformed by Yukon Cornelius) needs a job.

His specialty? Putting stars on the top of really tall Christmas trees

base is 16x16 studs

Retro Rockets

These rockets reminded me of a logo for a project I worked on about 12 years ago.

Everything is spot on with this build and the colors and design are amazing.

Lego Snowman

Still no snow here so I built one in Lego complete with a hat and scarf.

Snowman spheres are based on the Lowell Sphere with some modifications.
The layout was inspired by Chris's (powerpig) amazing photos.
And last ,but not least, the mouth was borrowed from Bricks of Character Lego logo.

P.S. If you have had snow in your area, please send some my way!

L'Oréal Tatooine | Because I'm worth it

This one caught my eye right away. It's both hilarious and brilliantly executed with it's simplicity.

Via Flickr:
Even though he has to go out and fight the whole Empire, Luke Skywalker is challenged to be always perfect. And even more so with the arid climate of Tatooine, that leaves his hair like a mop.

So much so, that before leaving home he always does two things: puts his lightsaber to charge and smoothes the bob.

Why? Well, because Luke's worth it.

Lego Stocking Tree Ornament

This is an ornament that we made last year but never took a proper picture of.

It's a pretty simple design and looks great on a tree. If you don't have the time or the parts to make your own this ornament is available at our web and amazon store.
