The Twinkie is one thing I though would always be around because of
the million year shelf life.
I heard over the weekend that Hostess was trying to close its doors
because of some sort of union problem. Today they announced that they
are in Mediation with the Bakers Union per orders from the U.S.
Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
In case the negotiations don't go well get your Twinkies while you
still can! I haven't eaten a Twinkie in over ten years (gasp!) but I
would still like the option to go out and purchase one if I'm struck
with a craving.
Twinkie, you will be missed.
