This micro scene is from the original 1951 version of The Day the Earth Stood Still.
This movie was an anomaly for its time. It was the first "A" science fiction alien movie with top notch actors, directors, music, etc in an era where most alien movies were low budget and shot in 1 week or less
This movie also produced one of the first memorable robots, Gort, and the now often quoted phrase "Klaatu barada nikto"
